About

We are 2 young women with 14 years of friendship and 11 years of teaching between us. We have experienced the good, the bad and the ugly in our ventures to mold minds. On top of being teachers, we are making a valiant effort to be real adults, or "Adulting" as our generation has turned this metamorphosis into a verb.
In the midst of being educators and almost-there adults, we dream of expressing our inner artist that's somehow stifled by the lives we live- I wonder how that happened.

"Have I not commanded you? Be Strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" Joshua 1:9

I am so excited to be a part of this, but I would be lying if I said this is in my comfort zone! Sure, I raised my hand all the time in school and now speak up on things that matter most to me, but I still consider myself a pretty "reserved" person. How far can you really get staying in your comfort zone and not letting your voice be heard? Here's to being strong and courageous and letting others into my everyday life!
